The Børslien Family

[THOMAS FITZGERALD]

The Børslien family hails from Oslo, Norway where Kylar and his sisters, Aria and Heidi were born. Their father, Aleksander Børslien is the dedicated founder of the Børslien Technological Trade Company, under which Mr. Fitzgerald Sr. worked in dealings with mostly trade and communications between countries and the international relations between Norway and Britain. The three Børslien children were a very common sight around the Fitzgerald manor throughout their childhood and the two families are practically inseparable. (For a long while it was assumed that Tom would marry either Heidi or Aria and many a joking tease was expressed to the disdain of the youngsters.) Alas, the circumstances that would befall both families would not allow it. The year he turned seventeen, Kylar was killed. It was a flying accident but took from the family their youngest child.

The Børslien family is fairly close and the loss of their youngest child was a huge shock. They are an upper class family, much like the Fitzgeralds and currently Mr. & Mrs. Børslien reside in their estate just outside Oslo, in the Norwegian countryside. Both of them are still working and travel frequently.

[Small note from Chloe: I am reallllly picky with this poor family, hence the minute specifics. The reason for that is that Kylar was actually a beloved character I once played and his family is all plotted out in my head and in his history. If you have any questions at all, please, please ask via PM. I won't bite you, I promise. I've noted everything I want, the rest is free reign for the player to decide just be sure that in their histories there's nothing particularly tragic aside from Kylar's death. No abusive parents, obviously, or rape or nonsense like that, and if you can, try to match those related to your character that already exist-- such as Tom and Kylar, whose app is linked below. Aria Børslien
Kirsten Dunst - 26 - veterinarian - sweet - heterosexual - complicated

Aria Børslien is the eldest of the three Børslien children and she is the most motherly of the group. Sweet, and much like Mary-Jane Fitzgerald, she has a very cheerful but sometimes shy exterior. After the death of her younger brother, Aria took over the position of responsibility and became much like the pillar both Tom and Heidi relied on thereafter. She's much considered the wise old goat despite her slightly naive tendencies and overall, she's a strong girl albeit slightly childish when it comes to things about the world she should know. Street smarts, one might say, are a thing she lacks to an alarming degree. Intelligent to the extent of being an A student and particularly learned in the department of art and literature, there is almost no problem intellectually that can stump Aria besides a strange mathematical equation.

In terms of love she's aware of Tom's rather obvious inclination towards her but her dealing with romantic inclinations is up to the rper. She can be either savy and prepared, handling men easily or she could be terrible at expressing herself emotionally and run from romantic situations. She and Heidi are close but her bond with Kylar was always strongest; after his death, she and Tom became even closer and they are easily best friends today.

Heidi Børslien

Heidi Børslien is the middle child in the family. She is a fiery tempered, determined individual with her own unique style. Best friends with Mary-Jane Fitzgerald, she is the most gun-ho of the two families and easily the most mischievous. She's very driven to doing things her own way and has at times been a bit stubborn, refusing advice of any kind from anyone. She and her mother have a slightly strained relationship due to Heidi's rather reckless personality although she loves her family dearly and is very close with Aria. She is currently studying abroad, medically and when it comes to relationships, she's very open.

Her sexual orientation is up to the rper, although she easily has the inclination to swing both ways at once. She's very open about any and all relationships though and is not one to hide in the closet. Whatever her current orientation, in her history she has experimented which is another additional strain between her and Catherine, who is a bit more conservative than her daughter.

Kylar Børslien

Born June 30th in Oslo, Norway to Aleksander and Catherine Børslien, Kylar was the third and final child of three. For a time after he was first born, the happy family lived in a large apartment in the city where they resided comfortably in the upper end. The year Kylar turned three, his grandparents passed away and his father inherited the Børslien Estate in addition to a large inheritance which he used to found the Børslien Technological Trade Company with long time family friend, Thomas Fitzgerald.

Kylar was given her first soccer ball at the age of five and never let the thing drop since. He joined numerous sports teams throughout his childhood and was infamous among the coaches as a reckless yet talented player. He lived comfortably on the estate and often traveled with his family to spend the summer months with the Fitzgerald family and his best friend Thomas Fitz. Jr. The two were an inseparable, mischievous pair and entered high school together at a British boarding school. The summer of their senior year, a few weeks before he was due to turn 18, Kylar was killed in a flying accident over the North Sea. The loss was devastating to both families and no member has ever, quite been the same since.

Mary-Jane Fitzgerald

Tom's sister, Mary-Jane is a very perky, stylish individual who can sometimes be a bit nosy in her brother's business. The two are very close and, although she sometimes pesters him, she is the one to whom Tom turns first in turmoil. Mary-Jane is a very sweet girl with a charismatic and easily likable personality. She is never shy in any given situation and is fairly determined, although not nearly as stubborn as her best friend: Heidi. In love, she is fairly blunt and sometimes a tiny bit tactless though she is classy and very prone to elegance. She enjoys shopping almost as much as getting into trouble with Heidi and is quite the show stopper for a girl her age. Her red hair comes from their mother's side of the family.
